Interns must be able to demonstrate a sound of general knowledge in:

Accounting/Finance: understanding of accounting concepts, calculation of financial and accounting ratios, general knowledge of financial analysis and ability to draw conclusions

Valuation/Modeling: demonstrate a thorough understanding and application of the different valuation techniques, e.g. EVA, DCF methodology (incl. WACC calculation), trading and transaction multiples. Ability to use and build tailor-made models

Research: ability to utilize databases such as Thomson Financial, Mergermarket, Diane, Amadeus, etc. Efficient use of Internet

Systems: demonstrate advanced Excel skills and efficient use of PowerPoint

Assist in the preparation of discrete elements of presentations

Self review and critical assessment of all work before submission to others

Ability to deal simultaneously with different tasks in order to meet deadlines

Develop broad understanding of sector/regional and relevant competitive landscape of a company

Demonstrate both clear and confident oral and written communication

Ability to define issues relevantly, to be concise and explain complex concepts clearly

Demonstrate clear and concise drafting skills

Bilingual French/English, a third European language welcomed
